Group of people unloading boxes of supplies in a parking lot and a man sitting at a desk with an American flag in the background.
The first image features four smiling individuals, three in police uniforms and one in a green polo shirt, posing inside a modern cafe or restaurant with hanging lights and brick walls. The second image shows a man in a suit reading a children's book to a group of seated young children, who are attentively listening, in a classroom decorated with educational posters on the walls.

My name is Emmanuel Guerrero, older brother, oldest son, raised by a single mother and Proud Democrat.

I am honored to serve as a Councilman in Pasadena, but our State and our Nation are not well. Today more than ever, we allow fear and self-interest to govern our representation.

I grew up in a working-class family, myself working as a cook, server, and mechanic before graduating from the University of Houston.

I am ready to take your voice to Austin as the Democrat State Representative for District 144.

Priorities

for District

144

  • Expand Medicaid eligibility to cover more low-income Texans.

    STOP social security cuts.

  • Reduce property taxes and lower the cost of consumer goods.

  • Invest more in public education instead of wasting money in other areas.

  • Call for greater accountability and clear transparency in how immigration enforcement actions are carried out, particularly regarding ICE operations and oversight.

As your representative, I oppose secretive, unaccountable immigration enforcement that undermines public safety, trust, and basic civil rights.
